| mmmmmm so warm |
It is damn cold. This baby (foolishly left behind by Crystal when she went on maternity leave) keeps my toes toasty after they practically freeze on the drive to work in the mornings and now I am addicted. Sorry Crystal, Im never giving it back.
Run Toto Run
Run Toto Run
Play this.
I found this magical song trolling the hype machine last year, and instantly fell in love with it. I have used it in my colours go wild class (to help kids to visualise colours in music, I know, I know - Im a giant hippy) ever since.
Today, while preparing for a class next week - I fell in love with it all over again.

I can sum this site up in one word that I mean from the bottom of my heart : Delightful.
Julie B Beck said in the last general Relief Society conference that we should know and learn from the history of Relief Society. So In that endeavour I came across an internet archive with every copy of the relief society magazine from 1914 - 1970

and while some of the articles are hilarious (apparently dark greens, grays, purples, navy blue and seal brown are appropriate shades for the woman of forty, mum I hope you are reading this) mostly its awesome to see how the early women of the church shared and practiced their faith and what things were most important to them (did you know that in 1914 Relief Society studied the life of Benjamin Franklin - thats pretty flippin rad).
So like I said: delightful.

Life being made a little easier
I went home for lunch today and like a fool, locked my car keys in my car - in the ignition no less.
| Internal monologue: Gaaaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh. |
In situations like this usually I call Dad and he bails me out while tutting at me and sometimes in a strained voice repeating "I dont understand Jazzy - why do you keep doing this?" like I've personally gone out of my way to lock my keys in my car just to make his life hard and for my own amusement. Which I obviously have done.
Happily for Dad he was in Auckland today so instead (and after some frantic phone-calling) I was bailed out by Cam the rockstar and his cool daddy-o Clive. Honestly, my life today would have been so much harder if they hadn't helped me out and as an added bonus no-one tutted at me, however Cam did do a pretty good impression of Dad's usual diatribe of distress.
Rainbow
Driving in and out of Templeview today there was a massive (if not double) rainbow stretching across the whole sky. It was glorious.

ALSO - even I have heard about you locking your keys in the car ALL THE TIME via Kevvy, and yes, he really can't understand why you do it SO MUCH!!
