The Federation and other alliances

Play this music while you are reading this post. Don’t ask just do.
Yesterday morning I opened my work emails to find a message from the Federation – not the (evil?) consortium that controlled shipping throughout the Galactic Republic- but the more legitimate (as in real) Federation of International Human Rights Museums whose conference Ill be speaking at this year in my Liverpool. Yes, its the return of the Jaz.

I reckon I could totally work that gold bikini. if it was like a gold burka.

The email was to let me know when on the programme I’ll be speaking and who else is on the programme. I won’t lie, it looks pretty damn cool - both the line-up of speakers and seeing my name amongst them.

Last year thanks to some multo generous benefactors I was able to go along and support Crystal do her thing at the inaugural conference, she did an amazing job especially as she was a secret squirrel pregnant person.
Oh whats that we're doing? Just steering THE FERRY 'CROSS THE MERSEY

It’s so awesome to be able to represent in such an important forum, talking on a topic that ever increasingly becomes dearer to my heart.
Close to my heart in another equally important way is getting this RS Pres party started right. We had our first presidency meeting this week and I made up info books and a visiting teaching handout for my counsellors and secretary and felt highly Molly Mormon doing so, which lets not kid ourselves, I LOVED.
just something I prepared earlier

I’ve also been catching up with a few of the board members and I’m mad excited for some projects we’ve got coming up in the next month.
Another agreeable interlude to mention was the sweet catch-up date with my BFF Rosie this week at Starbucks, whom I dearly lovelovelove. Maybe as much as C3PO loves R2 D2.

Some favs from previous years

your blog is turning out to be quite entertaining miss jasmine. Especially now that I feature ha ha ha. That's so exciting about the conference, that's so weird that a year ago it was me, and now, only one year later, i am sitting here in my pjs and my little bubba is sleeping soundly. Yes pjs at 12.34pm. I'm terrible.
